USA Media’s Response on Demonetization. They are Shocked at the Cooperation by the People of the Country

There are umpteen opinions of people all across the country, over the demonetization policy. It has been more than one month since the implementation of this policy. More than ever, however, people are in favour of the policy, despite facing high inconvenience and struggles on a daily basis. Most people are of the opinion that these minor inconveniences are nothing in front of the long term, intended benefits.

Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley has been trying to allure the common people in favour of online and digital transaction, while PM Modi, on the other hand, has been urging the other party leaders to reach out to the public at large and educate and acquaint them with digital technology, so they can help themselves in going cashless.

It is very clear that the main motive behind this move of Modi Ji is to promote the usage of digital and online transactions and make Indian economy go cashless. This way, not only the tax returns will increase, but people will have to be abandon the usage of black money in the market. This will also help the government to track the money, so that black money hoarders can be caught red handed. This is a welcome move in the light of the past decade, which was replete with cases of corruption and scam, which caused huge losses to the Indian treasury.
