Video:Highly Shameful ! What Congress workers Did With RBI Governor Urijit Patel at Kolkata Airport

It is highly shameful to notice that this is what Congress workers have come down to, for the sake of opposing the demonitisation move of the Modi government. On December 15th, a group of Congress workers heckled the current RBI governor, Urijit Patel at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Airport in Kolkata.

They shouted chants like ‘Urijit Go Back’ and ‘Urijit Haye Haye’ and as he stepped out of his car while he was on his way back to Mumbai, he was stopped in the way by these alleged Congress workers.
As soon as he started walking towards the airport terminal, these workers came very close to the RBI governor, posing a threat to his personal security.
Urijit Patel had come to attend a meeting with Bengal CM, Mamata Bannerjee, who has openly opposed demonitisation. “He was silent most of the time… but I got an opportunity to tell him what people are feeling,” she told the media after he left, adding, “The RBI is an autonomous body and should not be used for misused for politics.”
Ms Banerjee also said, “The double dhamaka of demonetisation has put GST in cold storage.”
while the police personnels appointed for Urijit’s security were pushing these workers away, the enthusiasm of these workers did not die. They kept shouting slogans and chants.
It is notable that CPI and other opposition parties are still in strong opposition of this policy.
