Devastated by Demonetization: Separatist Leaders of Kashmir requested tourist to Visit Kashmir

The after effects of Demonetization have hit the separatist groups in Kashmir hard. They are now pleading the tourists and pilgrims to pay a visit to the Kashmir Valley. They have even ensured that they will keep them safe and sound. They have made Kashmir very appealing by using the term ‘paradise on Earth’ and have ensured safeguarding the people’s rights. This is simply a desperate measure in the desperate times of the demonetization policy. 

Separatists now feel that they are suffering huge losses after the implementation of the demonetization policy. They fear themselves going bankrupt because of the current cash crunch in the country and therefore they are trying to revive the Tourism industry of Kashmir.  

The three main leaders responsible for the current unrest in Kashmir, who take pride in being the makers of the Separationist Movement in Kashmir – Syed Ali Geelani, Yasin Malik and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that we the people of Kashmir have been “safeguarding and providing exemplary hospitality and safety to tourists and yatris”.“We have been taught hospitality, humanity and safeguarding the rights of guests by our great religion, Tourists and yatris from the world, including India, who intend to visit Kashmir are most welcome,” the three leaders added. 

They further said that “We invite them to come to Kashmir and enjoy our hospitality and the beauty of paradise on earth.” Ever since the Separationist Movement started in the valley about five months back, the Tours and Travel Industry has hit the rocks and is facing major financial slowdown. Because the valley has been paralyzed with fear and terror, the tourism industry has naturally hit a new low.

They went on to say that they wholeheartedly welcome the people from India as well as across the world who are planning or intend to visit Kashmir. They said that they should not be fearful of their lives as their culture as well as the Islamic religion teaches them to take care of their guests and safeguard their lives at all costs.
