Uttarakhand Government to Grant Muslim Employees a Special Break for Friday Namaz

The official sources in the Uttarakhand government has said that “the government employees from the Muslim community will be given a special 90-minute break for Friday prayers. This was decided in a cabinet meeting on December 17th (Saturday), here in Dehdradun, which was chaired by the Congress Chief Minister, Mr. Harish Rawat who said that “a special break from 12:30pm till 2:00pm will be given to the employees from the Muslim community, so they can offer their namaz.”

In the said cabinet meeting, the Congress government also made other decisions like consent for a detailed project report for metro which has been given to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The state government also posed a penalty of Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.5 crore for PG doctors for violating bond of 5 years with the state for essential service. The state goes to poll next year.
This is clearly a political move, as the Congress government in Uttarakhand wants to appeal to the Muslim vote banks, for the elections that are to be held next year. This is how Congress government stoops down to l ow levels, just for the sake of some votes. They are simply doing this to appeal to the Muslim vote banks, so they can gain control of Uttarakhand next year as well.
In the month of August former Uttarakhand CM Ramesh Pokhriyal along with other leaders of BJP, like Anil Baluni had charged Ms. Sonia Gandhi, the Congress President and Rahul Gandhi, the Vice President of being an accomplice as CM Harish Rawat had introduced ‘Harda’ tax which they alleged have been imposed to recover the money spent in buying MLAs.
