If the demonetization was not enough to curtail the black money practice, and put your money to a better use,according to reports, you will now be required to put your Aadhar number on the cheque. This will be applicable to all account holders who give cheques for making payments, you will no longer be able to make payments through cheque without adding your Aadhar number. This move will be implemented from next year.
Comments cannot be made about the authenticity of the report, as there are many rumor mongering sites and people, spreading panic and tension amongst the people. Almost a month after the PM implemented demonetization, things are yet to come into order, banks are still running out of cash, ATMs are still cashless, and many people are still dying at the hands of demonetization. The move which was aimed at tackling the black money menace, has led to even more chaos and menace across the nation.
It is not only the corrupt who are suffering, but also the innocents, recently, a retired CRPF jawan shot himself to death, due to frustration caused because of lack of money, he needed to treat an illness. News about people dying or killing themselves has not stopped, and recently there has been a spate of raids conducted by the IT department. In these raids crores of money in new currency, in possession of various businessmen, has been exposed. What more will we have to witness and experience will unfold as the time passes.
